DESCRIPTION & USAGE
JEFFCOOL® P150 is an inhibited, propylene glycol–based industrial coolant and heat transfer fluid engineered for closed-loop heating and cooling systems. It delivers reliable performance across demanding operating conditions. The product is supplied as a 100% concentrate and requires dilution with water. Typically, concentrations range from 30% to 60% by volume, depending on freeze-point targets and system requirements.
The inhibitor system actively protects common metals used in industrial equipment. These metals include brass, copper, solder, steel, cast iron, and aluminum. In addition, the formulation includes an antifoam agent. This feature minimizes foaming during service and supports stable operation and consistent heat transfer.
JEFFCOOL® P150 serves as a proven alternative to brine and uninhibited glycol/water solutions. It provides dependable corrosion protection and improves overall system durability. The corrosion inhibitor package protects cast iron, steel, copper, and brass at temperatures up to 300°F. It also protects aluminum at temperatures up to 190°F. Moreover, JEFFCOOL® P150 meets the corrosion performance limits of ASTM D3306 and passes the ASTM D1384 corrosion test.
As a trusted distributor, Third Coast Chemicals supplies JEFFCOOL® P150 to support long-term reliability. We serve a wide range of industrial heating and cooling applications.

DESCRIPTION & USAGE
JEFFCOOL® HD is a propylene glycol–based fluid designed and tested for high-temperature applications. It delivers reliable performance at temperatures up to 325°F. While it shares heat transfer efficiency, corrosion protection, foam suppression, and physical properties with JEFFCOOL® P150, JEFFCOOL® HD offers enhanced performance in extra high-temperature environments.
JEFFCOOL® HD performs well in applications where JEFFCOOL® P150 is effective but requires added durability. In these cases, it provides greater corrosion protection and longer service life under extreme heat. As a result, JEFFCOOL® HD is an ideal solution for systems exposed to elevated operating temperatures.
