Propylene Glycol Based Fluids
Cavitation Corrosion
JEFFCOOL® P150N coolant is recommended as a coolant
for stationary engines in applications, such as natural gas
processing, irrigation, power generating systems, oilfield
operations and portable air compressors. JEFFCOOL® P150N
is specially formulated to provide protection of cylinder liners
from cavitation corrosion.

Accepted for use in all heavy duty engines under
these brand names:
- Ajax
- Caterpillar
- Cooper Bessemer
- Dresser-Rand
- Enterprise
- Superior
- Waukesha
Propylene Glycol Based Fluids
High Temperature
Applications
JEFFCOOL® HD has been formulated and tested for extra high
temperature applications of up to 325°F. Other characteristics
are similar to JEFFCOOL® P150, including heat transfer, corrosion protection, foam suppression and physical properties.
JEFFCOOL® HD can be used in any application where
JEFFCOOL® P150 performs well, but offers extra corrosion
protection and longevity at elevated temperatures.
This is advantageous for applications, including line heaters,
HVAC systems and boilers (except for high temperature
aluminum above 200°F; see the section on JEFFCOOL® E300
for aluminum boilers and engines with aluminum cylinder heads).
