Why use Ethylene Glycol in Industrial Applications?
Ethylene glycol is a useful industrial compound found in many consumer and industrial products and applications such as antifreeze and coolants.
This product also helps keep your car’s engine from freezing in the winter and acts as a coolant to reduce overheating in the summer. It is found in everyday consumer products such as hydraulic brake fluid, ballpoint pens, solvents, paints, plastics, wood treatments, and films.
Similar to TEG, Ethylene glycol is used in the natural gas industry to remove water vapor from natural gas before further processing. It also plays a major part in the manufacturing of polymers and fiberglass.
